Who We Are

UA Construction is a family-operated general contractor based in Lexington, Kentucky, serving homeowners and commercial clients across Central Kentucky. For the purposes of applicable privacy law, UA Construction is the business that decides how the information described in this policy is used.

Our mailing address is 110 W Vine Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40507. You can reach us by email at Info@uaconstructionky.com or by phone at (859) 328-2849.

Information You Choose To Give Us

We only collect the information you type into one of our forms or send to us directly. That typically includes your name, email address, phone number, project address or city, and whatever you write in a message field about your budget, timeline, and the work you are considering.

If a project moves forward, we may also collect information needed to quote, permit, and build it, such as survey or plat details, utility account information, lender or insurance contacts, and the documentation required by a permitting authority.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical information, or other sensitive records through the website contact forms. If we need that kind of information for a project, we will ask for it through a more appropriate channel.

Information Collected Automatically

When you browse the site, our hosting and analytics providers record basic technical information. This generally includes your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the pages you view, the site you arrived from, and the dates and times of your visit.

This information is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful, to keep the site secure and available, and to diagnose technical problems. It is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies And Similar Technologies

The site uses cookies and similar storage technologies to remember basic preferences and to measure traffic. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site functioning and secure. Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors move through the pages.

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from reading the site or contacting us, though a few features may behave differently.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to respond to your inquiry, prepare and revise estimates, schedule site visits, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, file permits, invoice for work performed, and keep records required by law or by our insurers.

We may also use your contact details to follow up on an open inquiry, to send project updates, and occasionally to share information about our work. You can ask us to stop sending marketing messages at any time, and we will honor that request. We do not send marketing messages by text without your consent.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks for their own use.

When We Share Information

We share information only as far as it is needed to run our business and deliver a project:

  • Service providers who host this website, deliver our email, or provide analytics and scheduling tools, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
  • Subcontractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, and lenders connected to your project, limited to what they need to perform their part of the work.
  • Permitting authorities, inspectors, utilities, and insurers, where the law or a project requirement calls for it.
  • Professional advisors such as attorneys and accountants, when necessary.
  • A government body or other party where we are legally required to disclose, or where disclosure is needed to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, sale of assets, or transfer of the business, subject to this policy.

Third-Party Sites And Embedded Content

Some pages link to outside services, including our Instagram profile, mapping services, and review platforms. When you follow one of those links you leave our site, and the privacy policy of that service governs what happens next.

If a page embeds content from a third party, that provider may receive technical information about your visit and may set its own cookies. We do not control those practices.

How Long We Keep Information

Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond and to document the outcome, and then for a reasonable period in case the project resumes. Project records, contracts, change orders, invoices, warranty documentation, and insurance records are retained for the periods required by Kentucky law, by our insurers, and by the statutes of limitation that apply to construction work.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a business of our size, including access limited to the people who need the information to do their jobs and encrypted connections on the site.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur, but we will notify affected individuals as required by applicable law if a breach affects their personal information.

Children's Privacy

The site is intended for adults considering construction work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Choices And Rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. You may also ask us to stop sending marketing messages, or withdraw a consent you previously gave.

To make a request, email Info@uaconstructionky.com or call (859) 328-2849 and describe what you would like us to do. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time allowed by applicable law. If we cannot honor a request, we will explain why.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and disclose, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, for the site.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices, our tools, or the law change. The revision date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold, we will make that clear on this page.
