Our Story

Started With Hand Tools, Grew Into Whole Builds

UA Construction began in 2018 with a father, his sons, and a truck of carpentry tools. Word traveled the way it does in small towns: the trim work was right, the job site stayed clean, and the phone rang again. Clients kept asking us to take on more of the job, so we became the one crew accountable for the whole build.

Those referrals turned into additions, then whole-house remodels, then ground-up builds. Today we run residential and commercial projects across Central Kentucky with more than thirty-five combined years of trade experience on the crew, still framing, trimming, and finishing with the same hands-on approach. What changed is the size of the work, not the standard we hold it to.

What We Stand On

01

How We Work

Licensed, insured, and fully equipped with our own machinery and employees, we self-perform the work that decides quality instead of handing it off. You get firm pricing, a schedule with real dates in it, and a direct line to the person running your job.

02

What We Owe You

We build in the towns we live in, so our reputation follows every project we finish. That is why we treat your build the way we would treat our own house: honest scoping up front, no surprise change orders, and a crew that comes back if something is not right.

The Journey

How A Project Works

Each stage in the order it happens, how long it usually takes, and who you will be dealing with along the way.

  1. Free, no obligation

    First Walk-Through

We meet you at the property and look at the space as it stands today. You describe what is not working. We ask the boring questions about access, utilities, and how the house is put together, because those decide the cost.

  2. Five business days

    Written Estimate

Line-item pricing for labor and materials, with an allowance list for anything still undecided so it cannot hide inside the total. You keep the estimate whether or not you hire us.

  3. Three to four weeks later

    Getting Ready To Build

Permits filed, subcontractors booked, deliveries scheduled, and a start date confirmed in writing. The order of work is settled before equipment shows up on your lawn.

  4. Every week of the build

    Progress Updates

Photos, what got finished, what is coming next, and any choice we need from you. One email, one point of contact, for the whole job.

Why Clients Stay With Us

A Reputation Earned On Every Project

The majority of our work comes by referral: a neighbor who watched a project progress, or a client returning for a second build. That confidence is earned on site, through disciplined scheduling, a clean and organized job site, and finishes that hold up long after the final walk-through.

We self-perform the work that determines the quality of a finished home, maintain our own crew and equipment, and hold every trade on the property to a documented standard. Licensed, insured, and directly accountable to you from pre-construction through closeout.
